45th Annual Convention writeup

We had more cars on the lot than the past few years which was an absolute pleasure. It’s certainly an added commitment to drive or transport a car to the show, which we all appreciate.

To everyone who contributed to the success of the convention, thank you! Toby and Sandy for absolutely everything, Martha in the office for her work, all of the board members who work for the betterment of the club all year long and take on so many additional tasks at convention, parking lot security volunteers, registration room volunteers, the photo team (shout out to my local friends Emily & Jeremy who were integral in helping me execute so many tasks).

We must celebrate the hotel staff, particularly Mimi who worked tirelessly to ensure our room reservations were correct, to oversee the daily needs of the club on site and connecting us to the correct departments for anything that came up.

Personally I have to once again acknowledge the team I’ve come to call “the convention committee” of Nate, Tonda and Steve, Toby, Sandy & Martha too, of course. None of this would have happened without their hard work and dedication.
